Global Search

The command palette lets you search across all your Zendesk configuration objects from anywhere in Configly.

  • Press Cmd+K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from any page
  • Or click the Search button on the dashboard

Keyboard shortcut

Cmd+K / Ctrl+K opens the command palette from anywhere in the app.

How It Works

  1. Open the command palette
  2. Start typing — results appear as you type (with a short debounce)
  3. Results are grouped by configuration type (triggers, macros, views, etc.)
  4. Click a result to navigate directly to that item's detail page

What Gets Searched

Global search queries across all synced configuration objects for the current connection:

  • Trigger names and descriptions
  • Automation names
  • Macro names and descriptions
  • View titles
  • Custom field titles and keys
  • SLA policy titles
  • Group names
  • Brand names

Search Tips

  • Search is case-insensitive
  • Partial matches work — type "esc" to find "Escalation" triggers
  • Results show a preview snippet for context
  • Each result displays an icon indicating its configuration type

Recent Searches

The command palette remembers your 5 most recent searches per connection. These appear when you open the palette before typing anything.

Limitations

  • Search only works on synced data — run a sync first to ensure results are current
  • Search is scoped to the current connection
