Resource Collections¶
What Are Resource Collections?¶
Resource collections are bundles of resources associated with Zendesk apps. They group related assets and configuration data used by app installations.
Limited metadata
Resource collections have no name field in the Zendesk API. Configly displays the resource count and identifiers for each collection rather than a human-readable name.
What Configly Captures¶
For each resource collection, Configly stores:
- Resource count -- the number of resources in the collection
- Resource identifiers -- IDs and types of contained resources
- Created and updated timestamps
