Support Addresses¶
What Are Support Addresses?¶
Support addresses are the email addresses that your Zendesk instance receives tickets from. They include both Zendesk-provided addresses (e.g., [email protected]) and forwarded external addresses (e.g., [email protected]).
What Configly Captures¶
For each support address, Configly stores:
- Email address
- Name -- the display name for the address
- Default status -- whether it's the default support address
- Brand association -- which brand the address is linked to
- Forwarding status -- whether email forwarding is correctly configured
- Created and updated timestamps

Tips for Admins¶
- The health check validates support address configuration and flags potential issues
- Review brand associations to ensure each address routes to the correct brand
- Use snapshot comparison to track when support addresses are added or changed
