Release Notes

February 2026

What-If Simulation Mode

Simulate configuration changes before making them in Zendesk. Enable What-If Mode from the navbar (or press Cmd+Shift+S / Ctrl+Shift+S) to make virtual edits to triggers, automations, macros, views, fields, and SLA policies. Changes exist only in Configly — nothing is sent to Zendesk.

AI Impact Analysis

Analyse the impact of your simulated changes with AI-powered analysis. See risk assessments, affected items, conflict detection, and execution order changes.

Search across all configuration types with the command palette. Press Cmd+K / Ctrl+K from anywhere to find triggers, macros, views, fields, and more. Results are grouped by type with preview text and recent search history.

Social Login

Sign in with Google or Microsoft in addition to email and password. Accounts with the same email address are automatically linked across sign-in methods.

First-Time Onboarding

New users see a welcome dialog, guided first-sync experience with per-type progress, and a celebration screen showing what was found. Contextual feature hints introduce key capabilities like search and snapshot comparison.

Expanded Configuration Types

The dashboard now shows 12 configuration types: triggers, automations, macros, views, ticket fields, user fields, organisation fields, SLA policies, groups, brands, schedules, and ticket forms. Each card displays total and active counts.

Snapshot Comparison Improvements

Snapshot selectors now show full date/time (e.g., "14 Feb 2026, 15:30") with relative time (e.g., "2h ago"). A swap button lets you reverse the comparison direction. Diff results include filters by change type and configuration type.

Error Handling Improvements

Error messages now include actionable guidance: authentication errors link to the connections page, rate limits show countdown timers, and after multiple retries, diagnostic information (error codes, timestamps, attempt counts) is displayed to help with troubleshooting.
